On Saturday, July 17, enjoy an evening made for the best detectives as each train car will become its own detective agency and will put the passenger into investigation mode! In a perfect blend of fine food and theatricality, this mystery will surely be solved by the end of the night! Satisfy your tastes buds with an elegant three-course dinner on board a vintage dining car at the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. The train will depart from the Bryson City, NC depot at 7:00 pm and will feature the exquisite cuisine of Chef Deborah Douthit.
Let the experience begin the moment you step on board the Mystery Dinner Train with the romance and mystique from an era gone by. This special night’s menu offers your choice of unlimited soft drinks, freshly brewed tea or coffee, a bed of fresh mixed greens with your choice of dressing. Dinner entrees include, Prime Rib with Potatoes Au-Gratin and Roasted Vegetables, or a vegetarian choice of a Portabella Mushroom gilled to perfection seasoned with Garlic and accompanied by Spinach, Roasted Red Peppers and Goat Cheese.
