Wine tasting in Saluda
Nov 17, The Purple Onion, Saluda NC. Wines from Tuscany starting with two whites: Orvieto and Vernaccia. Then on to some Chiantis with great ratings and prices, a Rosso d’ Montipulciano and just for fun, Viticcio vin Santo to finish up. There will be nine wines in all. Richard Mckinney of Tryon Distributing will be returning to “enlighten” us on the selections he has chosen. Seating is limited to 32 so reserve your space soon. The price for the evening is $45 which includes a taste of 9 different wines, Italian cheeses, antipasto and pasta, all chosen to complement the wines, tax and gratuity.
