Catch the Spirit of Appalachia’s Heritage Alive Mountain Youth Talent Contest on November 19. Winners included Nathan Parrish (Otto) First Place; Jacob Jones (Sylva) Second Place; Julie Helms (Robbinsville) Third Place.” Catch the Spirit of Appalachia’s works to conserve, protect and save the natural and human heritage of the mountain people in the region.
