Friends of the Westerrn North Carolina Nature Center in Asheville NC are calling for volunteers for "Oceans of Change" on March 11, 2011 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and March 12, 2011 from 9:00am - 4:00pm
The Center is searching for enthusiastic adult volunteers to assist with our educational stations for their newest event called "Oceans of Change". Stations include hands-on activities on marine mammals, hypothermia, whale tails, global weather patterns, live shrimp viewing, and even some arts and crafts. The Center is working with local organizations to provide our guests with information on changing climate conditions and its impact on marine life.
