Big Bird at Lake James State Park

February 20, 10AM, Lake James State Park, Nebo North Carolina. Join Park Ranger Nora Coffey to learn about North Carolinas largest woodpecker, the Pileated Woodpecker. Discussion with mounted species with a short hike following. The hike will be a moderate level hike of approximately 1.5 miles. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and bring your binoculars if you have them.
