Appalachian Food Traditions Pot-luck
Feb 25th, 6:30pm, Ransom Fellowship Hall, Warren Wilson College, Swannanoa North Carolina. Join Gary Paul Nabhan, founder of Slow Food's Renewing America's Food Traditions (RAFT), for an Appalachian supper! There is a rich history of food in Western North Carolina. Pork dishes, hearty bean soups, greens cooked to silky perfection, and corn pone are perfect winter food. Bring a down home dish to share and some wine or hard cider to share if you like.
