Feb 10, ASAP ( Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project) will be announcing new resources at a workshop event tomorrow in Asheville North Carolina. ASAP will be working with local governments and others interested in the region’s development, to support work in this area. Farms create jobs, increase communities' tax revenue, attract visitors, and can help keep some of the 370 billion dollars tourists spend on food and drink in the local North Carolina economies.
Farm Promotion and Support is a one-day workshop for economic development and tourism authorities, as well as others held at The Market Place restaurant , downtown Asheville, from 10AM-3PM.
