4th Annual Best Dish in North Carolina Restaurant Competition

Deadline of March 13 for submitting applications. The statewide competition from the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is open to any restaurant or restaurant group doing business in North Carolina. Restaurants compete in either Fine or Casual Dining,  with the winning dishes highlighting the use of locally grown food products. "The purpose of the Best Dish in NC Restaurant Competition is to recognize and reward the efforts of restaurants and chefs who source and implement North Carolina products regularly in their menus along with increasing public awareness of the quality of food, restaurants and chefs in our state.”

Contest rules and forms can be found on the newly launched website, www.bestdishnc.com. Chefs and restaurateurs can also use the site to locate locally sourced products.
