Asheville: Grin and Bear It

May 1 Asheville. A member of Asheville's Convention & Visitors Bureau reported welcoming a different kind of visitor in the early morning hours. An adult black bear casually strolled down the neighborhood street apparently looking for breakfast. Black bears generally prefer not to be in the company of humans, but when natural food sources are lacking they may come into civilization in search for leftovers.
