National Trails & Land Trust Day at Chimney Rock Park

June 6 Chimney Rock. Guided hikes with Park specialists, rock climbing demonstrations (and the opportunity to try it for yourself). Area land trust organizations, hiking associations and other outdoor vendors will also be on hand to share their dedication to preserving and protecting green spaces. Complimentary guided hikes will be offered at 10am, noon and 2pm with Education Specialist Emily Walker. Emily will take guests on the Hickory Nut Falls Trail at 10am. Along the way, she'll help you learn how to identify many of the Park's native trees and plants.
