June 18 - Begin the season with a Summer Celebration on Father's Day Weekend on the Beach at Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure. Begin the evening with a delicious Beachside Cookout with your choice of Low Country Boil, Roasted Chicken or Grilled Steak with hot dogs for the kids. The Tiki Bar will be serving cold drinks, beer and wine.
DJ music, dancing and family games continue from 5 PM - 9PM. Enjoy an old-fashioned drive-in style movie with popcorn and hand-scoped ice cream and a bonfire marshmallow roast. The spectacular fireworks display over Lake Lure begins at 9:20 PM. The event is open to the public and includes free parking.
