Knife and Fork Restaurant Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Benefit Dinner

July 16th 2011 marks the two year anniversary for Knife and Fork, a Spruce Pine NC restaurant featuring local ingredients and environmental responsibility. Knife and Fork Chef/Owner Nathan Allen is a finalist in the 2011 prestigious Western North Carolina Top Chef Competition.

Knife and Fork will celebrate the anniversary with a party to benefit a  favorite WNC organization, the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (more commonly known as ASAP). ASAP's mission is to help local farms thrive, link farmers to markets and supporters, and build healthy communities through connections to local food. Ask any farmer you know and they'll tell you what a great and helpful organization ASAP is.

On July 16th from 4-9  the street in front of Knife and Fork will be closed off and local farmer's will be set up with food for sale. There will be live music from Polly & The Posse and beer from Dry County Brewing. Dinner will be served inside the restaurant. Tickets are $30 with all proceeds going straight to ASAP.

Make reservations at 828-765-1511 and  help celebrate a  two years of an exception dining experience.
