Great Smoky Mountains National Park
News
-  Visits into Great Smoky Mountains NP dropped by 18.7% for April 2011 compared witrh April 2010, but that decline is due to the 2010 Interstate 40 rockslide at the TN/NC state line that closed the Interstate. Year to date entries into the Park are down by 9.2% from Jan-Apr, 2010
By entrance the April 2011 visitation was as follows:
Gatlinburg: -21.5%
Townsend: +16.4%
