Storytelling: Amy shares a story told to her years ago by her Uncle Sterlen..."The Legend of Horseshoe Rock"

Creative Corner: Doreyl's guest is Peggy Dawson from Tuckasegee; they talk about the three most important things in gardening.  Music: "The Garden" by the Clover Band;

Black Roots of Appalachia: Victoria's guest is 94 year old Syrilda Smith from Sylva who shares some of her precious memories of her husband and teaching in Jackson County.  Music: "Home is Cross the Blue Ridge Mountains" by Earl Taylor & Jim McCall.

Down Another Road: Judy talks with Bill Rhodes of Asheville, who tells of his life away from the mountains and how he returned.  Music: "There is a Highway" by the Cochman Family.
