Alleghany Fiddler's Convention

July 20 - 21  Alleghany Fiddler's Convention  Traditional mountain music that is sure to get your toes tappin’. 40 to 60 bands and over 200 individual compete each year, The convention is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Alleghany County Fairgrounds with sites available for camping. The convention is held every year on the weekend of the third Saturday in July.
