This Saturday, Nov. 5, RiverLink begins clearing one of its riverside properties in anticipation of a paved path and greenway paralleling Riverside Drive in the River Arts District. Volunteers will be weeding, mowing, collecting trash, and other activities in anticipation of eventually opening the area from 12 Bones to the Haywood Street Bridge to installation of a greenway featuring an asphalt path.
The media are invited to come by for photos and interviews from 9 AM to 1 PM at 119 Riverside Drive, Asheville NC.
