Nov 4, 7 PM at City Lights Bookstore, 3 E Jackson Street, Sylva NC. Charles Dodd White will read from his new short story collection, Sinners of Sanction County. Originally from Atlanta, White now lives in Asheville and teaches English at South College and is on the creative writing staff of the Hindman Settlement School's Appalachian Writers Workshop. He has also authored the novel Lambs of Men. Of Sinners of Sanction County, Ron Rash has said, "Charles Dodd White is an exceptionally talented writer and these stories secure his place as one of Appalachia's best short story writers. He's the real deal."
