October 30, from 9 AM -1 PM, RiverLink is calling for volunteers to work for a day to finishing up the projects started by the OIA on Oct 7. Specifically, a Dumpster will be loaded with trash and organic debris at the RiverLink Sculpture Plaza and about 60 feet of weeds and small trees will be cleared at the property across the street from the ice house building. Where: Meet at the RiverLink Sculpture and Performance Plaza, 117 Riverside Drive (about half a mile north of 12Bones) When: Saturday, Oct. 30, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bring: A positive attitude, clothes that can get dirty and sturdy shoes. Gardening implements-of-destruction such as weedeaters or chainsaws would be a bonus.
