Join the WNC Nature Center for one of its most popular excursions, NC Elk Experience: the Rut Season. Two trips are offered: Tuesday, September 7 or Thursday, September 16 from 3 PM to 8 PM. Enjoy a one-hour presentation at the Nature Center on elk ecology and biology and then take a ride to Cataloochee Valley to see them in person! The fee is $20.00 per person ($18.00 for members). Tickets are sold on first come-first served basis. Snacks are served in the vans. Guests may elect to drive their own vehicles at a reduced rate ($10.00 per person).
