Foorhills Conservancy Celebrates 15 years

Oct 3 from 1PM - 4PM join the Foothills Conservancy in celebration of 15 years Saving the Places You Love in the Blue Ridge & Foothills. Admission is FREE and the fun includes Foot-stompin' Music, Silent & Kid's Auction, Wildlife Displays, Windshield Tour and More! Presentations will be at 2:30PM. The Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina, a regional land trust, is dedicated to working cooperatively with landowners and public and private conservation partners to preserve and protect important natural areas and open spaces of the Blue Ridge Foothills region, including watersheds, environmentally significant habitats, forests and farmland, for this and future generations. The Conservancy, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, serves eight counties: Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Lincoln, McDowell and Rutherford.
