Hey Day Volunteers Needed at the WNC Nature Center

Help support the WNC Nature Center by donating your time. The Friends of the WNC Nature Center host the 34th annual Hey Day on Saturday, October 9th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hey Day offers for the whole family with music on the main stage, as well as clogging, balloon sculpting and storytelling. Children's activities and educational programs abound with the Pee Wee Mine, cake walks, face painting, pumpkin painting, arts and crafts and games.

How you can help: Volunteer to facilitate a wide range of activities and logistics during the event. You can volunteer for the whole day or just the morning or afternoon. Also needed are volunteers to help decorate the WNC Nature Center on Saturday, October 2nd in preparation for the fall themed festivities.

All volunteers are invited to the first ever Hey Day Pre-Party Event & Orientation (details will be provided once you register)!
