National Wildlife Federation’s Great American Backyard Campout at Camp Lake James

June 26,  Camp Lake James - the National Wildlife Federation’s Great American Backyard Campout. During the day, you can relax and explore The Camp – play games, swim in the pool, hike, fish and take a kayak out on the lake. After 5 p.m., the Camp staff is leading an array of family activities and cooking burgers and hot dogs on the grill. If you’d like to spend the night, you’re welcome to pitch a tent in the activity fields next to the Social Hall – putting bathrooms just a stone’s throw away. And, we have lots of fun activities scheduled after dinner! Advance registration is required-no registrations will be allowed on the day of the event.
