Nov 5 at 7PM, The Jackson County Main Library, Main Street, Sylva NC. The holiday celebration of Catch the Spirit of Appalachia’s writing program will open with stories, poetry and song in a fast-paced production, showcasing the creative talents of many local residents. At 7:30pm there will be a reception with refreshments and book signing for this year's 6 new books published by Catch the Spirit of Appalachia. With this year's addition, the nonprofit organization has now assisted in publishing a total of 38 books since 1996. Website: http://www.spiritofappalachia.org/
