Foothills Conservancy Reveals Mystery Hike

August 29 beginning at 9 - 9:15AM. Join Foothills Conservancy's Andrew Kota on a hike to the Big Lost Cove Cliffs! This will be a 3-4 mile round trip hike from the trailhead on Forest Road 464. Rating: Easy (initial uphill section followed by ridgeline hike)You'll have expansive views of:

• the Blue Ridge Escarpment along the Blue Ridge Parkway
• Lost Cove Creek area of Wilson Creek watershed below &
• Grandfather Mountain and beyond.
  
  Meeting Place: At the general store (aka Mountain Crossing Mercantile)on Hwy 181 in Jonas Ridge. This is located about 25 miles up Hwy 181 from Morganton. For your GPS the address is 9041 NC 181, Jonas Ridge, NC 28641.
