Asheville's Annual Tomato Tasting and Competition

August22 at 11AM at the Big Ivy Tailgate Market in Asheville NC come to the annual Tomato Tasting and Competition.. Have a taste of many different locally-grown varieties, from Mortgage Lifter to Brandywine to Cherokee Purple and more...and cast your vote for the best-tasting tomato. If you're growing tomatoes, bring some to add to the line-up (at least 3 of each variety). It's fun, and delicious! At the Big Ivy Tailgate Market on the grounds of the Big Ivy Community Center (look for the blue tents), where you can find produce, meats, coffee, fresh flowers, crafts, and more from your Big Ivy neighbors every Saturday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
