McFarland to host Open House in west Jefferson

An international publisher of reference and scholarly books, McFarland is today one of the larger publishers in the country, producing more than 350 new titles each year. The public is invited to tour the slightly eccentric building, chat with fascinating staff members, have refreshments and enjoy the company’s large art collection.
