Tartan Day in Mount Airy at the Mount Airy Museum

April 6, 2009 The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History and the Scottish Heritage Society of the Blue Ridge will celebrate Tartan Day in Mt. Airy at 12:45 in the museum courtyard. Tea, Scottish shortbread and soda bread will be served and Mayor Jack Loftis will read the “Tartan Day in Mount Airy” Proclamation. The Museum will be open from 12:30-2:30 for visitors to tour and view the exhibit featuring Scottish memorabilia and regalia.
