Easter Sunrise Service at Chimney Rock

For 54 years, folks have been getting out of their warm beds before the crack of dawn to trek to Chimney Rock to experience Easter on our mountain. This year's celebration is Sunday, April 12. Gates will be open from 5 to 6am for the 6:30am service. Remember to arrive early, dress warmly and bring a flashlight. The service features scripture, song and fellowship with the grand finale being the spectacular sunrise over Lake Lure and Hickory Nut Gorge.
