Carolina Public Press Kicks off its Spring Fundraiser TODAY with only one week to raise its goal of $7,000.
There has never been a greater need to strengthen independent, in-depth and investigative journalism. Thanks to reader support the publication was able to invest more than 3,000 hours last year to report Western North Carolina's most important issues - work that earned two statewide and regional awards. Today, Carolina Public Press is the only news organization in WNC with a journalist in Raleigh covering the legislature.
