John C Campbell Folk School hosts Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser this weekend

March 3, 5 PM - 7 PM -   Empty Bowls at John C Campbell Folk School   Event Tickets are $25.00 which includes a a take-home handmade bowl by a local potter plus soup, bread, salad and dessert. Enjoy  sharing a hearty meal and fun evening with friends while supporting local food banks. Extra bowls will be for sale for $20.00 after the event.  All proceeds benefit  the Clay and Cherokee County Food Banks.

The John C. Campbell Folk School provides experiences in non-competitive learning and community life that are joyful and enlivening. Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.
