Ashe County Humane Society holds 1st Annual Bark in the Park Fundraiser

September 19 from noon - 4PM in West Jefferson support the Humane Society and have a fun day with your fury family member. The event is open to all dog owners and their pets. If you don’t have a dog come on out anyway to enjoy the afternoon with friends and family. There will be food, 1-mile dog walk (noon) and a dog costume contest (2 p.m.)! There will also be entertainment, health care for pets to include ear cleaning and nail trims, a massage therapist and some other surprises.
