Storytelling: Amy’s story is called “Gathering of the Stories”—a step back to the time she began to write her trilogy of family stories. Background music: “Shout to the Lord” by David Bauer.
Creative Corner: Doreyl’s guest is Dan Pattillo from Cane Creek in Cullowhee, who talks about discovering the flora of Western North Carolina. Music: “Cullowhee” by Henry Queen.
Stories of Mountain Folk: Amy welcomes 88-year-old Sally Gwinn Kesler from the Cartoogechaye community of Franklin, NC, who tells some of the story of her life. Music: "Abiding in the Vine” by Betty Brown.
Black Roots of Appalachia: Victoria visits with Reva Dorsey from Sylva, who remembers some of her life and family. Music: "High, Low and Wide” by the Golden Gate Quartet.
Down Another Road: (Reprisal from August 18, 2012) Judy interviews Ted White from Asheville, and they talk about some Asheville history. Music:“Trouble” by Banjo Mania
Closing Song: "Look at My Arm" by Mark Winchester.
