The series begins on June 29 2013 with the return of Balsam Range, winner
of the IBMA 2011 song of the year for "Trains I Missed." Also returning
are the ever-popular Kruger Brothers. On Saturday, August 3,the Series presents blues legend Clyde 'Pop' Ferguson, one of the last
practitioners of traditional blues in the North Carolina foothills.
Make it a 'Dinner and Concert' Evening - The Schoolhouse Cafe serves meals, snacks and beverages from 6-7:30 PM prior to each Saturday evening concert. The Cafe remains open for snacks and beverages through intermission. The menu will vary each week.
Prior to each Saturday performance, ten people will have the privilege of enjoying a 5 PM private dinner with the band following the band's sound check. Tickets must be purchased online or in the Gallery at least three days prior to the Saturday concert, and the ticket receipt must be presented in the Gallery on Saturday before the dinner. The cost is $35 per person in advance (includes dinner, drink, dessert, tax & gratuity) Menu varies each week. Limit 10 people per show.
