February 4, 2012 - Amy's story "Granny Dawson's Basket" opens the show; Doreyl's interview is with Casey Queen from Dillsboro…the two discuss this year's Colorfest which will be held in Dillsboro. Amy then talks with Jeffrey Delfield of Bryson City, who has a deep love of making clawhammer banjos for his customers. We then hear Henry Queen of John's Creek play "John Henry" (clawhammer style banjo), and Jacob Jones of Sylva (who learned from the Queen family to play the clawhammer style) as he plays "Shortin' Bread."
