Labor Day Weekend Event: 40th Annual Smoky Mountain Folk Festival

On September 2 and 3 enjoy two evenings and 100s of some of the best mountain music and dance performers at this year's Annual Smoky Mountain Folk Festival.  The Festival begins each evening with the "Open tent" begins at 5 PM followed by  the Main Stage Show follows at 5:30 PM.

The event features a huge variety of mountain music and dance including
fiddlers, banjo players, string bands, ballad singers, buck dancers, square dance teams as well as the wondrous sounds of dulcimer, harmonica, jew's harp, bagpipes, spoons, saws, and folk ensembles of all sorts. Get a schedule here.
