August 22, 6 PM to 8 PM at the Rickman Store. The Gardening for Wildlife Series continues with "Roll Out The Barrel, We'll Have A Barrel Of Fun!" Doug Johnson of Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District will explain how to construct a rain garden (stormwater wetland) and potential financial assistance to homeowners and businesses. Debbie and Frank Leslie will then demonstrate how to make a simple rain barrel from a plastic garbage can. Bring your own if you wish to make one on the spot.
