Lake Lure Endless Summer Events 4th of July

July 4   Lake Lure   So you haven’t made your plans for the 4th? We have not one but
two 4th of July parties in Lake Lure and the Blue Ridge Foothills to answer your dilemma. Both are full of the fun activities you remember and fireworks ending the day with a bang.
Lake Lure  4th of July Celebration   A day full of fun family activities on the beach at Lake Lure including Boardwalk Arts & Crafts Sale, Kids Zone at the Beach, Fire Truck Rides & Tattoos, Beach Cookout, Ice Cream at the Cabana, Tiki Bar at the Cabana, Bingo at the Pavilion, Golf Cart Parade, Pasta Dinner on the Terrace, Prime Rib Buffet at Lakeview Restaurant, Dinner Cruise and a Fireworks Cruise. At dark the festivities conclude with a Color Guard and Fireworks display.

Rutherfordton:   An Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration   The fun begins at noon with a walking parade and continues throughout the day with a car/bike show, soap box derby, dunking booth, watermelon eating contest, cornhole, kids area, games, lots of food and more. The fireworks display begins at dark.

  1. thanks for not informing anybody there was not going to be a 4th of july fireworks display at lake lure on 4th it was changed to 5th my kids did not get to see fireworks on the 4th because of false advertising. next year we will make sure to spend our money elsewhere.

    In 2014 the sudden onset of the tropical storm/ hurricane, forced some holiday celebrations along the east coast to change from the evening of the 4th to the evening of the 5th. We only provide links to those hosting activities and advise visitors to always check directly with the hosts of events or owners/ managers of rentals for up-to-the-minute information. Many events did not make the decision until the morning of the 4th as the weather continued to change.
