"The Sapphires" Starts Today at th Flat Rock CInema

May 31 - June 6 - The Flat Rock Cinema, 2700 Greenville Highway, Flat Rock NC - The Sapphires, based on a true story, opens with showings at 4 PM and 7 PM. Doors open 40 minutes before showtime. All shows are $7.50. Reservations are recommended, but not usually required.

The Sapphires has been described as " pure joy", "A slick, soul powered Movie" and "Packed with Laughs! This gem of a movie will make your heart sing". Inspired by a true story, THE SAPPHIRES follows four vivacious, young and talented Australian Aboriginal girls from a remote mission as they learn about love, friendship and war when their all girl group The Sapphires entertains the U.S. troops in Vietnam in 1968.
