NC Aboretun hosts the Annual Rhododenron and Azalea Show

May 4-5  -  54th Annual Rhododendron and Azalea Show  Presented by the American Rhododendron Society, South East Chapter, this yearly judged event features hundreds of blooms. Spring and summer blooming rhododendrons and azaleas are some of the weekend favorites. The North Carolina Arboretum is home to the National Native Azalea Collection, and visitors are encouraged to explore the collection, located along Bent Creek, representing nearly every species native to the United States.

The North Carolina Arboretum includes magnificent gardens and miles of woodland trails and continual special events, touring shows and art exhibits. Just as our experience of nature is intimate, visitors to The North Carolina Arboretum connect with plants in personal ways that are as diverse and rich as the land itself.

Whether you enjoy strolling through gardens, exploring exhibits, enriching your mind or hiking and biking, the Arboretum offers activities for all ages.
The NC Aboretum is located a t 100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way in Asheville.
