Maya Angelou in Boone NC to Commemoration Martin Luther King Jr.

January 22  An Evening with Maya Angelou  The 29th Martin Luther King Commemoration at 7 PM at the Holmes Convocation Center at Appalachian State University. This is a Free event. Maya Angelou is hailed as one of the great voices of contemporary literature, authoring 11 best-selling books, including I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings and her current best seller, Wouldn’t Take Nothing For My Journey Now.
