Thanks to the 2009 fund raising efforts the LTLT ( Land Trust for the Little Tennessee) is acquiring 5.6 acres adjacent to its Tennessee Bottomland Preserve. This addition includes a unique granite outcrop that overlooks the valley. The property was offered to LTLT by Mrs. Margaret Parks in honor of her late husband Jim Parks who loved the property and always wanted to see it conserved with LTLT. Mrs. Parks describes the granite rock as a "magic place to sit and dream". LTLT is beginning a fundraising campaign for this property with a matching funds challenge. Email for more details.
